I thought I would pass on some information I just found out today.
When our floors were renovated it was decided to install energy saving devices, in particular on our heating and ventilation. If the device detects that there is no one in the room, it will alter the ventilation and heating/cooling of the room to save energy. That is why various rooms are either too hot or cold in the evenings and weekends. BUT if you walk into the room the sensor will automatically flip the thermostats to normal and give you the temperature you have indicated on it. Mind you this will take up to an hour.
I would need a list of the labs that you operate on a regular basis after hours and weekends and that you really can't wait the hour for the temperature to stabilize. With this information I can have the rooms changed to manual mode. Mind you not all rooms can be converted.
Please let me know ASAP.
