————————— “Network Dynamics and Neurocognitive Aging” Nathan Spreng, McGill Neurology & Neurosurgery Research from my laboratory and others is providing compelling evidence that the trajectory of cognitive aging is closely aligned with changes in the functional network architecture of the brain. In this talk, I will review recent and ongoing work from my laboratory to develop and validate a novel network neuroscience model of cognitive aging. Specifically, I will review recent studies examining the role of large-scale brain networks, and their interactions, in shaping the course of cognitive functioning in older adulthood. ___________________________________ Mehrgol Tiv Ph.D. Student, Psychology, McGill University Language and Multilingualism Lab *mehrgoltiv.comhttp://mehrgoltiv.com
