Hi everyone,
- Just a friendly reminder that this Friday (Nov 18) the Macnamara lecture will be delivered by Janet Werker, world-famous researcher on the very early development of infants' perceptual adaptation to their linguistic environment, (before they can talk or understand words).
*Date: Fri, Nov 1, 2016*
*Time: 3:30 PM*
*Place: Room 522, McIntyre Medical Building* This will be followed by a wine and cheese reception to which the audience is invited.
At 10:00 AM the same day, there will be a seminar at which I will interview Dr Werker about her career and her research, with audience participation. It will be held in Room S2/2 in the south wing of the Stewart Building. This is a small room; so you are advised to arrive early if you want a seat.
I hope to see you at these events,
Cordially, Al
