*Position # 21106 – *The Department of Psychology seeks to fill a
12-month contractually limited position* *at the rank of Assistant
Professor or Lecturer (depending on qualifications), effective July 1,
2015. A Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred; however a Master’s in
Psychology, or a Ph.D. in a related discipline, and suitable teaching
experience, will be considered. The successful candidate must also be
a registered clinical psychologist or be on the candidate register of
clinical psychologists.
Applicants must be able to teach: (a) Theories of Psychotherapy (4^th
year undergraduate course) b) Developmental Psychology (2^nd year survey
course, 2 sections) or Personality (2^nd year survey course , 2
sections); (c) Psychotherapy 2: Intervention Skills (evidence-based
interventions including CBT); and d) one section of Introductory
Psychology (Experimental), for a total of five half-year courses.
Applicants will also be expected to contribute to the research and
service activities of the department, and may have the opportunity to
supervise undergraduate research projects or honours student theses, if
desired.
