An NIMH-supported post-doctoral position is available within the Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders Laboratory at McLean Hospital – Harvard Medical School, directed by Randy P. Auerbach, Ph.D. ABPP. The laboratory is part of the Center for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Research, a vibrant research center that embraces a multi-disciplinary approach to improve our understanding of the environmental, psychological, and neurobiological factors associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders across the lifespan (http://cdasr.mclean.harvard.edu/).Currently, ongoing studies in Dr. Auerbach’s laboratory focus on identifying mechanisms implicated in the onset of depression and suicidal behaviors as well testing predictors of treatment response among youth (e.g., CBT, internet-based CBT). These studies employ a variety of approaches, including high-density EEG, fMRI, and MRS. Opportu

will be available to pursue independent research and interdisciplinary collaborations across Harvard Medical School. Depending on research focus, candidates will have access to three research-dedicated MRI scanners (3T, 4T) as well as 128-channel EEG systems. A strong background in EEG/ERP or fMRI techniques is preferred, and clinical training is a plus. To apply, send a CV and a cover letter describing your research interests, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to Randy P. Auerbach (rauerbach@mclean.harvard.edu). Review of applications will begin immediately (expected start date: Fall 2016).McLean Hospital, which is an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
