POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN ANXIETY/OCD/TOURETTE AND RELATED DISORDERS, ROTHMAN CENTER FOR NEUROPSYCHIATRY, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA The USF Rothman Center invites applications for a post-doctoral clinical fellowship position in anxiety/OCD/Tourette and related disorders (including trichotillomania, skin picking, hoarding, selective mutism, body dysmorphic disorder). Successful candidates will be involved in clinical evaluation and treatment of individuals of all ages, but focus on children, adolescents and young adults, with anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders. The position will provide postdoctoral clinical hours and supervision necessary for licensure within an academic specialty clinic. The primary duties for this position will be providing evidence based cognitive-behavioral treatment to youth and their families. Opportunities for work with specialized populations – e.g., early childhood intervention, older adults, pediatric/health, youth with autism spectrum disorders, are available. Although the primary responsibilities of the position are clinical in nature, ample time and opportunities are available for professional development, grant-related and independent research. Most fellows participate in published research, book chapters, and many initiate independent research projects. The University of South Florida’s Rothman Center http://health.usf.edu/medicine/pediatrics/rothman/index.htm is a multidisciplinary program with studies funded by NIH, the CDC, and several foundation sources. Program faculty include: Drs. Betty Horng, Adam Lewin, Omar Rahman, Justyna Wojas, Eric Storch and Tanya Murphy.
Applicants should have completed their doctoral degree (inclusive of internship) by the start of employment. Search remains open until all positions are filled.
