Assistant Professor in Psychology with Expertise in Statistics. We seek a psychologist with advanced quantitative training whose instructional capabilities include the teaching of introductory and advanced undergraduate statistics courses, as well as graduate courses in regression, analysis of variance, and multivariate statistics. The particular content area for the applicant's doctoral degree in psychology is open as is the applicant's area of research specialization. The ideal candidate would teach a combination of statisics courses and courses in their area of specialization. The start date for the position is September 15, 2018. 

An important component of this position is the research mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students, including the provision of statistical and methodological guidance on graduate thesis committees. Candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, exhibit research potential as evidenced by engaging in publishable research in their area of expertise, and possess the capability to attract and mentor students in their research area. Fully qualified candidates will have the ability to teach students of diverse cultural backgrounds. A Ph.D. in Psychology is expected at appointment.
