POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS AVAILABLE

APA Accredited Psychology Training Program

1-2 year fellowships, start dates of July 1st or September 1st

Child and Adolescent Psychology: Two Clinical-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellowship positions are available for those with outstanding clinical and research skills. Successful candidates will provide supervised clinical care within outpatient behavioral health and pediatric settings and participate in research as a member of the Laboratory for Innovation in Child Mental Health Care Delivery and/or the Observational Research and Behavioral Information Technology Lab.  Additional responsibilities include participation in didactics, clinical supervision of junior trainees and staff, and oversight of undergraduate research assistants. Clinical care will be primarily provided within: (1) Strong Behavioral Health: Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services; a community-based mental health setting serving a diverse population of children from birth to 18; and (2) the Golisano Hospital for Children’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Services; a large 10,000+ patient primary care practice focusing on the health needs of underserved populations in the Rochester community. Opportunities to participate in school-based consultation and school-based clinical services are also available. We are particularly interested in fellows with clinical and research interests and experiences that have focused on one or more of the following areas: integrated behavioral health primary care, early identification and screening, underserved populations, school-based mental health consultation and clinical care, observational methods, and work force education in evidence-based approaches including suicide prevention training for primary care providers.

The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is located in a culturally diverse and vibrant community in upstate New York.  We are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity University that values diversity.  Members of underrepresented groups, including people of color and those with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.
