at the University of British Columbia–Vancouver campus (psych.ubc.ca) invites
applications for atenure-trackposition at the Assistant
Professor levelinclinicalpsychology,whichwillbegin 1 July2017.CandidatesmustholdaPhDfromanaccreditedclinicaltrainingprogram(includinganAPA-orCPA-accreditedinternship)before
starting the position.Theyarealsoexpectedtoobtainregistrationasapsychologist in theprovinceof British
Columbia.
Weareseekingapplicantswithstrong researchrecords who wouldenhanceour research-orientedCPA-accredited
doctoralprogram.
We are looking for the strongest clinical psychology
candidate, regardless of research specialization, but weareparticularlyinterestedincandidateswhose researchcomplementsexistingstrengthsoftheclinicalprogramandbridgesclinicalpsychologytootherareasofthedepartment(psych.ubc.ca/faculty/index.psy).Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbeexpectedtomaintainaprogramofscholarlyresearchthatleadstopublication;conducteffective undergraduate and graduateteaching; provide effectiveclinicalandresearchsupervision; and contributetodepartmentalservice.
This position is subject to final
budgetary approval. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience. UBC hires on the basis of merit
