Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announcement that the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities)
is looking for a visiting professor in Quantitative psychology for the 2018 -
2019 academic year. We also plan to search for a tenure track position in
Quantitative psychology early next fall. Please share the attached
announcement with all individuals who may be interested in these positions.
Potential applicants are also encouraged to contact me (nwaller@umn.edu) with
any and all questions. We have a very strong group of graduate students in
our area (all of whom are concurrently obtaining a Masters in Statistics),
and I am confident that the successful applicant will enjoy working and
collaborating with these individuals.
Minneapolis is a vibrant city (queue up Purple Rain in the background) with
wonderful restaurants, fantastic shopping (Mall of America) and a very
temperate climate (Mark Zuckerberg has assured me that recent reports of a 15
inch snow fall this past weekend is an example of FAKE NEWS). Seriously,
this is a great department, a great place to live, and a wonderful
opportunity for someone in the beginning stages of an academic career.
We hope to hear from your best and brightest!
Niels
