CLINICAL psychology PROGRAM
Position: The Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College, Columbia University is recruiting for a tenured or tenure-track professor, open rank. We are seeking candidates with expertise in the development, evaluation, or dissemination of preventive/therapeutic psychosocial interventions, including innovative investigation of treatment mechanisms (either in general or in relation to specific disorders), response modifiers, implementation parameters, and integrative mental health. A successful applicant will have a strong record of research productivity and external funding, and demonstrated competence at teaching and advising graduate students that complements and extends the scholarly diversity of the program. We are especially interested in candidates with strong potential to take a leadership role in our program, and oversee development of a research training program on assessment and intervention that can be implemented in our student training clinic.
Responsibilities: Develop a program of research; teach graduate-level courses; advise doctoral and masters students; and supervise research and clinical placement for doctoral and masters students.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Clinical Psychology; professionally licensed or license-eligible in the State of New York; evidence of research productivity and potential for extramural funding; and commitment to teaching excellence.
Rank: Tenure Track or Tenured, open rank.
