The Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) Mental Health Care Line in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) (http://psychiatry.ucsd.edu) is recruiting for two academic psychologists. The appointees will serve primarily as Staff Psychologists in Outpatient Mental Health at the VASDHS.  Appointees will serve on either our Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Team (PTSD) or Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program, with the former also serving as PTSD Team Coordinator. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology program, must have completed an APA-accredited internship in professional psychology, and be eligible for licensure in California. In addition, ideal applicants should have established a track record of high quality, independent, programmatic research related to PTSD, anxiety, sleep or mood disorders and be able to supervise trainees. These are permanent full-time positions with a VA GS salary of 12 or 13.  Successful candidates must be able to qualify for an open rank faculty position at UC San Diego Health Sciences.  Academic rank will be dependent upon qualifications. As an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, the VASDHS seeks to recruit and retain a diverse workforce as a reflection of our strong commitment to the twin goals of achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff. We are thus interested in candidates who are committed to the highest standards of scholarship and professional activities, and to the development of a climate that supports equality and diversity.

To apply, interested candidates should complete the application available on USA Jobs: https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/426645500 and https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/426561500 .  Review of applications will begin February 1st, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.
