The Department of Human Development and
Family Studies at Colorado State University is searching for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of advanced quantitative
developmental research methods.
The ideal candidate will
contribute to our growing program in lifespan applied developmental
science as a methodological expert and will apply their expertise to
lifespan development and/or family studies. Specifically, we seek a
faculty member who has experience with longitudinal data analysis and
linear modeling. Expertise in a range of advanced multivariate
statistical approaches (e.g., multilevel modeling, latent profile
analysis, latent growth curve modeling, dyadic analysis, latent
transition analysis), and the ability to secure external funding are
expected.

The position is 9-month,
full-time and will start in August 2019.
The Department of Human Development and
Family Studies is one of eight academic programs in the College of
Health and Human Sciences. CSU is Colorado’s land-grant
institution and holds the Doctoral/Research
University-Extensive classification from the Carnegie
Commission on Higher Education. CSU is one of three core academic
institutions that comprise the Colorado Clinical and Translational
Sciences Institute (CCTSI). Many
faculty members in Human Development and Family Studies
engage in multidisciplinary research collaborations with other CCTSI
institutions and affiliates, including the University of Colorado
School of Medicine and the Children’s Hospital Colorado.
