The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at San Antonio is expanding its faculty as it joins the new UTSA College for Health, Community and Policy. We invite applications for *three* open rank positions and *one* assistant/associate position beginning Fall 2020.

*Latinx Health Disparities: *applications at the *Assistant or Associate Professor* level position includes teaching cross-cultural psychology and health disparities that focus on Latinx cultures. This position is in support of ongoing university-level initiatives in multiculturalism and health sciences. We are seeking applicants with a strong grounding in sociocultural theory and literature pertaining to Latinx populations, especially those whose research has implications for health behavior and health disparities in Latinx populations. Expertise in additional areas of clinical or social psychology and in statistical analyses are desirable, but not required. Although we are open to applicants from multiple areas of psychology, those with backgrounds in Multi-Cultural Psychology are particularly welcome at our Hispanic-Serving Institution. For all four positions we are interested in applicants whose research can contribute to the department strengths in health psychology (preferably, on physical and emotional trauma or addictive behaviors)* *and prefer candidates with expertise in advanced quantitative skills (e.g., longitudinal methodology, multi-level modeling, SEM, etc.), and who is interested in pursuing collaborative projects with other members of the cluster hire and the unique consortium of military and health-related organizations situated in the San Antonio community. Applicants must also demonstrate teaching excellence and willingness to provide service to UTSA. The UTSA Psychology department has a Masters in experimental psychology and a PhD in Health Psychology research.
*Responsibilities *include maintaining a successful research program, graduate and undergraduate-level instruction, and directing masters and doctoral students and securing extramural funding.
*Required qualifications* are a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field by August 15, 2020, potential for extramural funding, and relevant teaching experience.
