NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Clinical Psychology
The Department of Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH) Westchester Division in White Plains, New York is accepting applications for a two-year postdoctoral psychology fellowship position in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Division.
The Child Track fellowship aims to prepare the next generation of scientist-practitioners for careers in academic research and clinical applications. In consultation with a member of the psychology faculty, fellow will develop a plan to address their specific training goals. Fellows will be based in the child outpatient clinic, where they will engage in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families in individual, group, and family interventions. Fellows will participate in specialty clinics (e.g., Affective Disorders, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders) and have supervision in CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and family interventions, based on their interests. A variety of didactics are offered for child fellows to enhance their training and engage in professional development (e.g., CBT, DBT, Listening Process). Participation in clinical research activities is encouraged and fellows will be matched with a research mentor based on their mutual interests. Fellows may work with research mentors at either the White Plains or Manhattan campus.

Requirements: Applicants must have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program, evidence potential to participate in collaborative research, and be able to submit materials required to obtain the limited permit issued by the New York State Department of Education before their start date.

Start Date: August 31, 2016 (pending limited permit)
Fellowship Duration: Two years
Salary: Salary is competitive with full health benefits and vacation package included.
