The CHDS is an enterprise-wide center across the Nemours Children’s Health System in Delaware and Florida that conducts research on variables and processes that affect the delivery, safety, outcomes, cost, quality, and value of pediatric health care. The Senior Research Biostatistician would join our team in Delaware, but would have the opportunity to collaborate with center faculty from across the entire CHDS. We seek a Senior Research Biostatistician who has knowledge and expertise in a diverse set of statistical and methodological skills. Qualified candidates will be able to support all aspects of research planning and execution, including grant submissions, and will have an interest in working collaboratively with other CHDS investigators. Opportunities exist to develop an independent, complementary program of research and to participate in the training and supervision of research coordinators, students, fellows, and faculty within the healthcare system. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in biostatistics, quantitative psychology, or a closely related field. At least five years of postdoctoral experience is preferred. A demonstrated program of biostatistics research and innovation, along with first or senior author publications in peer reviewed journals, is highly desired. Salary is dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications and a strong fringe benefits program is provided. Interested candidates should send a curriculum vitae and cover letter outlining your specific qualifications, experience and fit with this position to Dana Berger, Program Manager of the CHDS (dana.berger@nemours.org mailto:dana.berger@nemours.org). Nemours is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity or gender.
