The Attention, Behavior and Sleep Lab is seeking motivated candidates with interests in child and adolescents development, school psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy and implementation science for a full- time postdoctoral research position at the Douglas Research Center. The fellowship is for 12 months with a possible second year appointment and provides research and academic training as well as an opportunity to mentor a range of junior trainees (e.g., undergraduate, masters, Ph.D., psychiatry residents).

The postdoctoral fellow 1) will lead the development of a platform that will seek to integrate these interventions and develop an in-depth understanding of factors affecting the tailoring and the transferability of these interventions to additional contexts; 2) will participate in the analyses of existing data related to the implementation processes of such interventions; 3) will lead or participate in the development of scientific papers related to empirical and theoretical issues pertaining to the implementation of school-based sleep interventions; 4) coordinate research activities and supervise research assistants and students as needed for this project. The goal is to expand and enrich the candidate’s knowledge of pediatric sleep, the development and implementation of school-based interventions and the scientific method, and to extend the candidate’s skills in conceptualizing and executing analyses and writing manuscripts for publications in high impact scientific journals.
